1. Website use
This website provides general information and a way to send transport enquiries to TBR TRANSPORT LTD. Information is provided in good faith but may change. The site must not be misused, interfered with, scraped excessively, or used to submit false, unlawful or harmful requests.
2. An enquiry is not a booking
Submitting a form, receiving an automated acknowledgement or discussing an estimated price does not by itself create an accepted booking. A job is accepted only when the company confirms the relevant route, date or collection window, load, price basis and any special requirements.
The company may decline an enquiry where capacity, route, timing, access, load suitability, insurance, legal or safety requirements cannot be met.
3. Accurate load and access information
The customer must provide accurate information about the items, quantity, dimensions, weight, packaging, value where relevant, collection and delivery access, floors, parking restrictions, loading help, deadlines and contact persons.
Prohibited or restricted items
Do not offer dangerous, hazardous, illegal, stolen, counterfeit, inadequately packaged, undeclared or otherwise unsuitable goods. Items requiring licences, specialist handling, temperature control or regulated documentation must be disclosed and separately accepted in writing before collection.
Nothing on this website represents automatic acceptance of waste, hazardous materials or any regulated consignment.
4. Quotations, estimates and charges
A quotation is based on the information supplied and the stated scope. An estimate is an indication where the final requirement cannot yet be fixed. Additional charges may be discussed where the route, load, access, waiting time, timing, handling or other agreed assumptions change.
Any VAT treatment, payment timing, waiting-time basis, parking, tolls, congestion charges, cancellation terms or subcontracted work should be stated in the specific quotation or job confirmation.
5. Collection, delivery and handover
The customer is responsible for ensuring lawful access, suitable packaging, accurate addresses and the availability of an authorised person where a handover is required. The company should be told promptly about access restrictions or time limits.
Estimated arrival or delivery times can be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, incidents and other events outside reasonable control. Time-critical requirements must be expressly identified and accepted.
6. Changes, waiting and cancellation
Tell the company as early as possible about any change or cancellation. A specific job confirmation may include reasonable charges for reserved time, mileage already incurred, waiting, failed access, third-party costs or work already performed.
No fixed cancellation charge is created by this general website text unless it is included in the quotation, confirmation or another agreement applicable to the job.
7. Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that consumers have under applicable law.
Responsibility for loss or damage may depend on the agreed service, declared nature and value of goods, packaging, customer instructions, insurance arrangements and applicable transport law. Any specific limitation or insurance condition should be made clear in the accepted job terms.
8. Complaints, law and company details
Raise a concern using the process in the Complaints page. These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and the jurisdiction rules that apply to the parties.
